HEALTH & SAFTEY POLICY
Seaside Construct WA Pty Ltd (Seaside Construct) as a Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) is committed to ensuring, as far as reasonably practicable, the health and safety of all workers and other persons which may be affected by our work.
To do this, Seaside Construct and its Director (Officer) will:

develop and maintain safe systems of work, and a safe working environment.

consult with workers and health and safety representatives as nominated and established to enhance workplace health and safety.

provide protective clothing and equipment and enforce its use.
-
provide supervision, information, and training for workers to make sure they are safe from injury and risks to their health and safety.
-
assess, control, or remove workplace risks.
-
ensure the safe use and maintenance of plant/equipment and substances.
-
comply with and keep up to date with all relevant legislation.
-
provide workers with adequate facilities for the welfare of workers.
-
monitor and review this policy to ensure it remains relevant and up to date.

conduct regular workplace inspections.

ensure incidents are investigated and lessons are learnt within the business;
Each Seaside Construct worker has an obligation to:
-
take reasonable care for their own health and safety and ensure that their acts or omission do not adversely affect the health and safety of others in the workplace.

follow reasonable instructions given by Seaside Construct to protect their health and safety.

not willfully interfere with or misuse items or facilities provided by Seaside Construct.

identify and report any workplace incidents or hazards to the Director
Other persons such as visitors who may access a Seaside Construct workplace are obligated to
-
not put themselves or any other person at the workplace at risk.

comply with all Seaside Construct workplace health and safety instructions.
This policy applies to all business operations and sites upon which Seaside Construct operates, with compliance required by all Officers, Workers and Other Persons as defined under the Workplace Health and Safety Act 2020.
